jrcpilot said:Have a question for any XJET guys on this commuter pass. Is it worth it? Do you get a parking pass or anything at your home airport? Not much info on it during orientation and trying to get some additional info.
Thanks

Thats probably what I am going to do. I don't lose my Delta pass bennies until May so I am sure I will just jumpseat back and forth to Atlanta from EWR. What's the cost of the Leather Jacket? Is it worth the money for the leather Jacket versus the regular Jacket?
Thanks

Are people getting canned for not wearing them?
Ohh.. and has anyone for the March 8th/15th class gotten their AOM in yet?
jrcpilot said:I got my study manual but no AOM yet. It has the basics of the program and my limitations and memory items. I assume we will get all that stuff the first day of class on the 8th.

I've been a CLE-based FO (as in, I do the walkaround every leg!) for all but 2.5 months of my over four years. Unlined jacket, no sweater, short-sleeve shirts . . . no problem. Your exposure time isn't that much . . . just the walkaround. You'll want black leather gloves and a black scarf, though. The only thing I find myself wishing for is a pair of those weird ear-cover-thingies . . . I think they're called "180s". Footwear is a tough one. You spend so little time outside, burly boots don't make much sense (made that mistake), and your feet will be hot and uncomtfortable for the majority of the time. However, light uniform shoes will end you up on yer keester (with cold toes) on an icy ramp in, say, Buffalo in February. Hope this helps.
