I put in my app with xjet a couple weeks ago with 730/130. It's been a couple weeks now and I haven't heard anything, but that's expected knowing how their HR department operates. However, I'm having a hard time figuring out just how long this whole thing takes. The interview gouges say the usual is 2-3 weeks, but two guys I know with 1000/300 got their emails in a week, while a guy I know with 1800/500 has waited 4+ weeks with no reply.

So, how do they actually pick who they send emails to at what times? I know with my times I might have a wait, but with less qualified guys getting interviews before higher time pilots, I'm not exactly sure how this whole thing operates. Anyone care to shed any light?

It took 2 weeks for me to get an email back from their HR dept. My interview is 17 July, I will see what happens.

I don't think your flight time has anything to do with how long it takes to get an interview. You might get a call faster if you check the box for 121 or E145 flight time. Otherwise they get you in for an interview when they need people and your number comes around. To that I know of no rhyme or rhythm. If you have the minimums you will get a call sooner or later.

It's a stand in line thing. If the company has a agreement with a particular school you'll get in sooner, if not you it's first come first served, flight time doesn't matter. Be patient you'll get called.

Yeah, be patient bud. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to figure out. I think I waited about 4 weeks for my call...at 850/550.
