Ok here is the dilemma. My buddy applied to XJET in Dec. and is waiting for a call. The dilemma is that he applied when he was at 1000+ hours and 90 multi in an airplane but he had 30 hours in a corporate sim where he is a regular filler for SIC positions at a well known training facility. He is 135 SIC certified in the aircraft. Well he was under the impression that he could use that time towards his multi time. He has over 100 hours multi flight time now. He has been hearing of people getting busted with applying with out the multi time. But with the sim (if its counted) and his twin time he had the 100 hours at the time of applying. What should he do? He is just worried about it and i dont know what to tell him. Anyone that might have any info or advice I would appreciate it. Thanks for any advice yall may have.

oh and for those of you that might think this is my situation i will clarify it now its not me, it really is a friend of mine.

Thanks to all.

If the application doesn't say "Multiengine time in an airplane" I wouldn't sweat it...

Haven't looked at the app though, so I don't really know..

XJET requires 600/100 .... and i believe thats 100 multi PIC - not SIC - not sure though. My instructor just left for them and he likes the place.

i heard a rumor from a previous instructor that they just upped their mins to 1200/100... any truth to that? Incidentally, where can you see mins for the various airlines?

i heard rumors about rumors that they upped it :) .... but i believe it is still at 600/100. A guy at my school goes out with the chief pilots daughter and he says its still the same.

(btw, talk about connections on that one ;))

Go to Aviationinterviews.com and you'll see from the gouge that the new minimums are 1000/200.
