This just out..... XJ pilots starting a no conficence vote for Foley/Spanjers. If all the unions follow, maybe we can finally rid ourselves of this duo.

I already Faxed mine in... My wife wants to send one too...I don't know if that will count, but she has less confidence in XJ management then I do.. and she's a lawyer.

On another note. I will be info picketing in DTW on monday. who's with me? I don't want to freeze my A$$ off by myself. Sign up on the ALPA web site. see ya out there.

FWIW. I just talked to the CP in DTW and my union rep and they both advised against probies taking part in these activities.

And folks on reserve shouldn't do it either. Hey all you 366+ day FO's, now's your chance to experience the line with all of us veteran picketers! Bring the hot cocoa and join us.

There are things that the pilots on probation can do to help. there is more to picketing then walking in circles. they may need people to inspect unforms or drive vans to pick people up. call your union rep or e-mail them and ask if there is a behind the scenes type job. that way, more people that are not on probation can walk. The union may still advise you not to take part, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

If you wan't to help e-mail your rep.

Why does it matter? They're all going to be furloughed soon anyway.

i went to the MEC and said, along with one other FO that we should accept no concessions whatsoever! I sure hope the race for more planes does not get anyone thinking taking a cut is worth it!

I have a lot of respect for our CP's...in fact I hope they all sign the petitions too -- but I don't think pilots should be asking a CP a question about a union picket. Stick to speaking with reps or other pilots...management will be asking the CP's to carry their water and rhetoric for them soon.

It's good to finally see some unity and pushing back, lets hope this continues.

It's one thing to ask for money during tuff times, it's another to flat out lie to the ranks about our fiscal condition, and ask for consessions!

Faxed mine in today!

Foley makes more than the CEO's of Southwest and American... and he does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Sorry, Paul. What goes around comes around.

Faxed mine in today. Imagine how dumb these guys are going to look when the pilots, FA's, and mechanics all vote this thing in.

(Counting the days...)
