XJ Feb 27 furloughs?

Just wondering if the furloughs scheduled for the 27th happened. The number on the union emails still reflects the numbers from the 15th.

I looked at the MEC website last night and they said the number on furlough is 132. So I guess(?) that includes the Feb 27 people. What was the number after the 15th?


Speaking of people on furlough, they were trying to junior man FO's last night....

So yeah they did happen...

Anyone know the approximate hire date of the most senior pilot furloughed? I'm concerned for a few buddies who went to XJ last spring/summer. Are more furloughes scheduled?

No more furloughs for now, but if we really go to 49 Saabs, there should be another 300 (or so) to come this year.

Off the top of my head I'm guessing the most junior people left are Feb 2005, or close to it.

I think you had to be in the Jan 26, 2005 class to stay employed (for now) all from the Feb 2005 class on are currently spectators. As well as many others that took a voluntary furlough.
Assuming all of the Feb 27 listed furloughs happened. Hard to know for sure since I lost access to mymesaba.com
on a side note. anyone have the transcript of the conference call from the 16th I only caught the 11 am and heard the 2 pm was the one to listen to.

They chopped one person from the Jan 24 2005 class.
