Sooooo,
You decide to take a little trip in the Commanche. Neglecting to check the NOTAMS, (or possibly even file a flight plan), you blast off towards Central Texas apparently without even a functioning radio or transponder. Somewhere along the way, (somewhere near Crawford that is), you pick up an escort of F-16s, who seem incredibly friendly, waving and what not, even saluting your shiny little Piper with some pyrotechnics. Continuing South another hundred miles or so, Air Force Admirers in tow, you pass a dozen or so airports along the way, including KAUS, where the already busy controllers have to vector several aircraft out of the path of your happy little parade. Finally landing at San Marcos, you find some thoughtful stranger has arranged for a half-dozen courtesy cars to meet you. Strangely, they're all painted like Police cars....
