I still think this is a hoax, but now on their website is says that they will have their routes announced on april 17th, and their first flight is scheduled for july 10 of this year. Has anyone done some background work on these guys as to exactly who they are? Is it NWA's flyI certificate? Is it Pinnacles Second certificate, or is it a bunch of crap (like i think)

Im guessing it's a bunch of crap... Im guessing they want to get ahold of your SSN and personal info. Someone prob. ripped of the application, and forms from the Pinnacle website. Notice all the ads on the side of the page?

I called the fisdo they're going to get the atty general and/or the FBI in on it. I wasn't the first call they had received.

The mailing address goes to a box in a mall.

Stay away.

while hanging out with my local airport bums we mentioned this to our FAA inspector bum friend. He said ABE FSDO, PHL FSDO and MDT FSDO know nothing about anyone trying to or filing for a 121 cert. in the ABE area. He has also been told that the ABE FSDO has and is looking into whoever this is.

Stay tuned...........

On their "special note to pilots" form, they give a phone number to contact them... 908-479-9894, anyone try it?

I just called it and some dude answered "CQ Air good afternoon"

Promptly hung up before they could scan my brain and snag my personal info...

I called a couple weeks ago.

They answered tech support. So I said uh, is this CQ Air? He said yea, so I asked for somone in pilot recruitment, he said I'm the guy you need to talk to.

So I asked about bases. All in the NE
I asked about pay, he said that will be discussed in the interview.
I asked if they had an air carrier cert #, he said yes. I asked for it, he said that they don't disclose that info. So I said, uh, isn't that public information? He said yes but we don't give it out. I said well thats odd thank you, and good day.

Don't Call

DON'T DIAL THAT NUMBER!
My friend tried it. He died mysteriously by the end of that day.
My other friend called the number the next day. He too died mysteriously that VERY same day.

this is a scam

What professional airline would have ads by google on the homepage. Who in the hell would start an airline with a jetstream 41. I thought it was legit until you guys mentioned it. This just proves that if you put a man on reserve long enough you can fight crime.

Its a scam to get your personnal information. Nobody knows about them not even the FAA. I was in Dallas at Higher Power and a bunch of FLYI guys were talking about how it was a scam, and they did some research on it. FAA did not know anything about them nor would they disclose any information about the company.
