I am looking for Southwest/Midwest freight/135 operators with SIC's. I'm based in Oklahoma City but I own a 182, so commuting a couple few hundred miles is pretty painless. Shreveport is 2 hours, Baton Rouge is a little less than 4.
Harlingen is 5.5 with a stop, so that's too far.
I wanted to find something with the weekend off for the commute; I have a wife and two small children.
My problem like most low time CFI's is multi time. 16.5 hours. Yikes.
I sent a resume not too long ago to Skyway for the local Shorts run but I guess I didn't update enough, as they just put a FO on that.
Ideas?
I hit all the flight schools locally BTW. I've also sent a few to larger schools in Dallas.
And please, I've read all the usual flames if you're planning that. I'm looking for flying and some home life and those are the priorities.
