Well, "baron", could it be because it's a pretty
good article? And the member who bumped it
probably isn't such a 'doofus'.
Think before posting.....
My bad. I checked in the dictionary and a person that bumps a 3 1/2 year old thread is a dweeb. The person that takes up for a dweeb is a doofus. Sorry for confusing the two. :)

I guess he didn't bother to notice the Moderator under my name hu?

Oh well.... I'm off to ban him now... I can't stand being called names! hahaha j/k

I've been hauling rubber dog turds for a while now, it takes alot more than that to bother me.

I bumped it because it was a good article. I do that every now and again when things get slow on the forums.

OK. Now I'll really stir the pot.

A person that flies checks is no "freight dog."
A freight dog rarely knows where he'll be spending the night or what the next days adventures will entail. A check hauler on a scheduled run is just pilot with semi-crappy hours and/or equipment.

Stir it up baby.

CASW
Ram Air
USA Jet

All of them have a PRIA for me, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

If you knew me you would know that I am a "dork fish"

Then you are a true freight dog!

Those that have only flown for Bank Air or US Check are the posers. Some of the people I work with now claim to be freight dogs but they've never loaded a box in their life and only sleep at 4-star hotels.

Yup, and the beauty part is I met my fiance' while sleeping/living in a tent in a state park while flying for CASW. The first time she met my dad he was bringing be a heater for the tent because it snowed the night before.

Freight has been good to us. She was working at Ram Air at the time. When I saw her taxi in that Seneca (the brown bomber) and she hopped out covered in grease and said after a really nasty approach "hell ya".... well.... I knew I was done with right there. And that is why I replied to the thread as "The good ol' days."
