YEp let us know what you decide! Even if you don't go. I don't think i'd take the trip, but than again i an instructor and we know how you feel about them. : )

Is this guy gonna give you a credit card to pay for expenses?

Would he be willing to do the trip with you?

I bet he would pay you more money if you asked cuz i think he'd have a hard tie findng someone else to do it.

No hard feelings about instructors! If you want flight instruction go to a flight instructor! If you want an aircraft delivered go to a ferry pilot! But to bed I go have to pack in the morning leaving for boston tomarrow night BYV to DVO thursday!

I couldn't help to think that perhaps this Baron is an old Execstar bird. I don't know how long you've been down in South Fla but Execstar was notorious, and shut down for creative paper work. If these are 9055S, 619BE, 930BD or 525AF be VERY careful. Towards the end of the company unbelievable things were happening with aircraft logs and 100hrs etc, I can't even remember how many cracked cylinders occured. I also think all four had been "landed" gear up. Anyways, I hope none of these are the one.

Thanks for the info, I will keep them numbers in mind when I go and look at the bird in June. I know I am demanding it be gone through "basically an annual" + a little extra care on the power plants & fuel system the new owner agreed with me and for being Russian he seemed very well educated & had good English a slight but not to strong of an accent.

Interesting that you are "demanding" basically an annual inspection. If you are exporting this aircraft to the CIS, or anywhere for that matter, an annual inspection is already a requirement, along with a DAR conformity inspection in order to receive an Export Airworthiness Certificate. Or did you not realize that you would have to do that?
