Do overspeed clakers (Vmo/Vfe) require a write up if generated by turbulance and there is no CAS message or damage suspected ?

Is this information recorded on the FDR?

If you got the flap overspeed horn briefly , would you write this up?

I would think it would depend on how the horn was activated. Was it during turbulence, configuring, or overspeeding with the flaps in position?

If there was a possibility of structural damage, then by all means, write it up.

Remember, "High Steve" is a goal, not a limitation.

If everyone wrote it up, the US Air Transportation system would be grounded.

I agree with all of the above, at least in the 145 its so damn sensitive, if you are close and you hit a bit of turbulence it goes off. Either the limit is .784 before it goes off or both sides have to be above .782 with .78 being Mmo, something like that, because both sides fly at different speeds.
