Look at what you really want. Is it to fly for an airline or just fly. You could instruct on the weekends or in the evening after work, or banner tow, fly skydivers, tow gliders. You could try to get on with a small charter outfit (other job would need to be flexible); they would luv to have someone that would be there for years. Crop dusting? Aircraft repositions from factory or private sales? Fish spotting? Traffic watch? Per diem right seat support for a corporate operator? Others....?
Most of these jobs are used as stepping stones. They would luv to reduce their training costs by having someone stay for years. You have to convince them of this, and live up to your word.
How does that sound? Wife, kids, house, good job, flying/fun job, you can have it all.
