If Jesus was alive today, would he ride, pilot or just simply build airplanes (or be a mechanic)?

Jesus wouldn't fly in an airplane. He would fly around like Superman. He's the son of god afterall.

Because Jesus was poor and therefore only able to afford a ticket on an LLC, RJ carrier, or coach class, he'd avoid flying altogether and keep riding his donkey since he was certainly smart enough to know that if one's destiny is to suffer and suffer to the point of death it's far better to do it during a crucifixion than any of the above options because at least you get to stretch your legs out.

Jesus is alive today.

But I know what you're asking, so I'll play along like a sport.

If you are talking about the method of transport Jesus commonly used, it was the same as most people: He walked. If cars had been common, He might have driven or ridden in a car. If His pre-crucifixion ministry were taking place today, He might have used whatever was most convenient.

After the crucifixion, he "appeared" to His disciples in a room. When He was last seen, He was rising into the sky. That suggests that His post-crucifixion body allows for several things He did not choose to do before the resurrection.

Jesus probably wouldn't be too poor. As a carpenter, he'd probably be pulling down 30K or so, unless he got his General Conractors license and his own crew ... in which case the skies the limit.

As far as flying though, I think he'd probably just buzz around like Superman, as someone pointed out. I mean, him being the savior and all.

:D

....or it suggests that he had a JATO pack hidden under his robe. That too, would be miraculous.

Enough of this foolishness!

What I wanna know is, if Jesus were alive today, what barbecue sauce would he use?

you see, jesus wanted us to believe that the earth is really 6000 years old and that the earth is flat to boot
so he would call bullsh!t to your face, and say that only birds can fly

ok.. timebuilder, you say jesus is alive today. define alive? alive in the sense of what a medical doctor can corroborate?

btw, where did he go after the resurrection? where is his body? surely it couldnt still be walking around after all these years.

If He were to present Himself to a doctor, I would say "yes." When He appeared after the resurrection, His friends recognized Him and spoke with Him. He even ate food.

Where He went: John 14:

"1 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

So to sum up, the body He has is His resurrected body, still identifiable by the wounds and His likeness, but able to appear suddenly and to rise into the sky. We can guess about just where exactly He went, but the important thing is that He went to make preparations for us.

Remember, this is after being crucified, being proven dead by an experienced Roman executioner who pierced His side, releasing a mixture of blood and water that had accumulated in His lung on that side, and then being shut up without medical resuscitation in a tomb from the afternoon of Friday until He appeared again on Sunday in resurrected form.

This should give you a little flavor of what the disciples experienced: Luke 24:33-49

"33 So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, 34 saying, "The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!" 35 And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread.

36 Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, "Peace to you." 37 But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit.

38 And He said to them, "Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have."

40 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. 41 But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, "Have you any food here?" 42 So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. 43 And He took it and ate in their presence. 44 Then He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me."

45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures. 46 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And you are witnesses of these things. 49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high."

Jesus would have his own quanset hut where he would meticulosuly restore vintage aircraft. His plane of choice would of course be the p-51, but on dates he would take chicks up in his steerman, or in his turbo bonanza if they were going to vail.
boooyah

please excuse my ignorance but you say he has is orignal body...so where is he now? what you posted had to do with back "in the day". where is his physical self with that physical body today? if he is alive in his physical body, dont you think people would have noticed him? especially with those wounds. there are more elvis sightings than jesus sightings i believe.

Probably with my right socks.

When I was a kid, I thought the dryer "ate" the missing socks. I was five. :D

Well, in John 14 He says "I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

So He went to an unspecified location, and I would assume that place is not on this planet, to get a place ready for us.
