You can run a PT-6 on AvGas with limitations on altitude and engine life... but I heard that if push comes to shove, they will run on almost anything.

Any PT-6 weird fuel stories out there?

Yea, I heard that the PT-6 can run on chocolate syrup, but you have to log it in the maintainences manual as a deviate control number, which requires some calculation with an E-6B slash charley.

the worse i've run it on is 100LL. I know some guys who've run them on diesel and home heating oil.

Pratt & Whitney had one running on coal dust for some project, one would think that ethanol, biodeisel, and Mexican dirtwater would all work.
