You are an idiot. FedEx and UPS both are infinately better than World.

You conveniently forgot to mention the "club" you need for BOTH UPS and Fedex ie. a sponsor. If you don't have that you ARE wasting you're time!!!:crying:

From someone who knows only too well!!!...........

There is no "club" here are UPS.

They've stopped hiring for now... starting a class of 4 DC-10 FO's in a few weeks.

The MD-11 they were looking to get fell through, thus the stoppage of hiring.

Last I heard was possible interviewing in Aug, but nothing official. Heard a RUMOR that World is looking at acquiring some of Varig's MD-11s - not sure if that is what Peanuckle is reffering to.

I would definitely come to World all over again. Quality of Life and pay is far better than what the regionals offer, and I enjoy the lifestyle at World more than I did scheduled domestic flying.

Yeah, I walked with BY about a week ago- said they NEEDED 12 FO's...just waiting on approval. I'm hoping to get the call in the next round. Got Monday-Wed off all next month, too. The more I've heard about the company, the more I've liked them. Sounds like a great place to work.

There was a UPS MD-11 that they were looking at recently, apparently. It was going to need a heavy check and such almost immediately, thus wasn't cost effective- heard from the rumor mill. Those Varig MD-11's would be very beneficial to getting me on board, haha.

We own some of the MD-11s World flies. We are waiting for conversion slots. Rather than just park them in the desert till a slot opens up, we are making a few more bucks leasing them to World.
