No words yet. We are currently reshuffling the pilot base assignments. There are still unfilled FO slots, but we also have one aircraft that will not be flying again until this winter (cargo conversion), so who knows. If World is planning on flying pax 747s this winter (believe it when I see it) they will have to announce that relatively soon. That could lead to hiring. We'll keep you posted.

Ditto CC. I was on the crew that ferried 279 to Naples the other day for the conversion. It should take about six months. The check airman captain said he was not informed of any immediate hiring plans, but that could change quickly (as always!).
