For you World Airways guys, any news announcements down the road? Expansion, new contracts, etc?

I see you are leasing 2 MD-11's for Spring 2005...

thanks

Things sound like they are in limbo.

Something is happening

"any news announcements down the road"

Something is going down. The stock price has been climbing and many shares have been traded. Which is why I could not be a day trader, never aware of the latest dirt. I heard an interesting rumor the other day. It had to do with purchasing or being purchased by another carrier. TMA was the company I heard.

As far as hiring, I'd guess this fall, but no later than this winter. World doesn't have enough pilots for the 767, so they will have to hire. All new hires can expect to go to the 767. That's if they're still getting those aircraft.

Transmeridian. I am not sure that is good rumuor. The fleet at TMA goes directly against what WOrld wants. They are looking to aquire 2 767-300ERs, and according to the hotline, taking a look at 2 more MD-11s.

That being said, I have seen stranger things.

make you go HMMMMMMM

well like an earlier poster stated, the stock traded like 5 million shares a few days ago, when its average volume is like 100,000 a day before that.

This wasn't Uncle Bobby with his E-Trade account.

something is definitely brewing behind the scenes. Typically the above activity happens when some big investor steps in and picks up shares. A few days later, all the E-traders see that they are up and they sell, bringing the price slowly down. Now the price is cheap again and Mr. Big Investor steps in and buys a sh1tload of more shares again.

my take anyway

thanks
