Did the window open and shut already? I went on the web site and saw nothing about Pilots. I must have missed the boat...

Hey World Guys,

Do they still ding you the $100.00 bucks a month "Home Basing Fee"?

From my understanding they extracted this fee out of the meager pay that you receive while in training as well.

Yep, you will pay that even during training. But on the flip side it's a great system. No more worries about getting to work, its there responsiblity to get me there on time. And no more crash pad that would surely cost more than $100 a month and you take the pain of getting yourself to work.

Did the window open and shut already?
Not yet, keep checking.
hehehe Maybe if you ask her nice she will let you go out one night a week.
I would have asked her, but my three day trip ended and I'm going home. Maybe I'll see her next week, right Pwhipped  .

They were at the DC Job Fair and about 20-30 of us were sent upstairs for a "pre-screening" FWIW. Friendly and honest people. I hope waiting in the corridor for 90 minutes in 90 degree heat with my suit on was worth it.

They mentioned a new contract with something like a mandatory 13-consecutive-day-off/month clause and 2 new 747-400F's on the way.

Interviews at the end of August.

....2 new 747-400F's on the way.
Really?! Do you recall who from World was at the job fair?

As far as we know that's still a rumor. I'd say this elevates that rumor a bit.

Hummm, partying with F/A's in Germany or flying -400s to Asia. Decisions, decisions.

Looks like a job fair might have been worth going to for some.

It predict it will be, and yes, it is worth it.
