Just haven't seen anything about World here in quite some time, any rumors about their hiring in the future? I know their workload is way up these days.
Also FWIW, I'll show how out of it I have been by asking what happened to UPAS, and whether or not that's still the way to apply to World. I noticed that the UPAS website is gone - are they defunct or is it just that upas.com is no longer valid?
Thanks

I know they have done a few interviews lately but do not know the future hiring plans. As I understand they are under crewed but seem to be leerie of hiring. They have hired quite a few flight attendants lately. Unfortunately I do not know anything about the UPAS situation, but Ill try to ask around.

I heard from a friend today that they were going to have a class of 10- dont know when it is to start or if they have already chosen the applicants or not

Does World hire FEs (guys over 60)? I know some guys who just lost the bulk of their retirement and might need something till everything's sorted out with the courts.
Thanks:confused:

As far as I know they are only hiring second officers now- over 60 pilots are free to go to panel after retiring in the front end but I dont think they hire like that- I honestly dont know for 100% as things are subject to change!
