I have been in the corporate world for 10 years and am looking for a change.

Is South West a good option??

How does commuting work or would I have to move to one of their hubs??

Southwest is one word.

You can commute from any were you want, just get to your base for the start of your trip. About 40% of our pilots are commuters.

There are lots of good threads on here about Southwest.

North West is recalling soon.

I would say you have a tiugh row to hoe since you don't know "Southwest " is one word. Better start studing,

The Lastest issue of either Airliners or Airways has a special edition out that is deticated entirely to South West. Saw it today at Boarders, looks like everything you need to know.

Holy crap, can we spell anything else wrong on this post? Is studing something to do with male horses? And I guess you can go to Boarders to get some boards to board up your house for the storm season. I guess the whole South West thing just started it off wrong, but we sure did attract some high school drop outs on this thread.

I hear that they are gonna let nuggets "home-base" once they start getting their EMB-170's.

Seriously though, if you want a job in the airlines then Southwest sould be your #1 choice. Sure competition is tough, but somebody's gotta fly for them...ask yourself....why not me? Good Luck.

Civilian with heavy metal only?? Sounds like a CFI with no students who spends his time on flight info. And your sarcasm is not very good with the Boarders mistake. I think it was a mistake and you are using the sarcasm excuse to cover up your stupidity.
