That is the new paint...at least the cowling...i don't really have a picture of the entire a/c that i like so when i get one i will change it out.

C601 guys huh...hmmmm.....that might be a good one to get into, i sure hope they make the pay go up with that one. They need to put it in TX and i would be all over it if i could hold the SIC spot.

Upgrade to the lears is about a year right now...especially if you are willing to go to the jetride side of things. We recently had a guy get a cargo lear in 13 months...but i believe they are going more like 18-20 months right now. Not too bad considerring some of us waited almost 3 years to get a spot (9/11 and i would not just take the first one to come open). So take that for what it is worth.

I'm just starting class for the Lear. Been here a little under 10 months. I ...bid everything though and didn't care where I went. Time from getting the bid to class is 1 1/2 to 2 months. Time to the jet should stay low for about 15 more guys I'd say. I benifited from being at the begining of a hiring spree and right behind a mass exodus for the regionals. I'd say with the 1 year training contract that the guys have to sign now, the time to the jet will go up to about 18 months or so. Who knows though, when I was hired it was 3 years!

Wings, which spot did you get?

My time from bid to class for the lear was 2 weeks...I think i got lucky and they needed to fill a last minute opening. Though, i did hold out for an easy commuteable run from my house. So it took me 3 years to upgrade (8 months of Prop SIC in the beginning, so really only a little over two years), but i did pass up a bunch of jets to get the one i have now.

4 lear SIC spots

When I was hired in Jan of this year I was 60 spots away from the lear. So assumeing 1 Sic spot comes open a week that is just over a year. Oh ya this weeks bid sheet has 4 Lear spots open. Life is good.

Airnet

Ive got an interview with airnet in a few weeks. If anyone can give me some advice on the interview, please do!

Thanx
