Oh not again. Is redundant and conveys no information whatsoever. Thread over.

Interesting. I think it's just a filler, much like "And center..." or "uhh". Just surprised so many get in a tiff over it.

On a more serious note, 30% of Pilot deviations are caused by non-standard or inaccurate readbacks by crews and by non standard phraseology, especially on RNAV STAR arrivals. Be careful out there esp w/ "descend via" clearances.
