Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any info about Wisconsin Aviation regarding rates of pay for CFII's and possible advancement to charter. Any info about living costs there would be appreciated too.

(not committed to moving there....just doing some research)

Thanks,
Scott

I worked as a line guy in watertown, but it was about 4 or 5 years ago. It was a pretty good place to work. From what I remember there were 2 full time instructors on staff and starting pay was about $11.00. The pay got bumped up .25 or .50 cents for a CFII and or MEI. I think you could transfer to Madison (bigger) or Junea (smaller) after some time, and charter was an option if they had an opening. If you haven't looked yet, try their web site www.wisconsinaviation.com it sould have some of the info. Cost of living isn't to bad, but it's tough to live anywhere on CFI pay.

Anyway good luck, it's a nice airport with friendly people.

Thanks. Yes, I've been to their www site, but they don't really get into the specifics of pay.

Looks like a nice place, though. Met one of their pilots last week by the name of Jim Quinn. Seemed like a really nice guy.
