I've been with them for 6 years now (Formerly know as the NWA Federal Credit Union). They are a class act and I have never had any problems with them. The only problem is that there are a limited number of ATMs and Branches so if you do not live or work out of one of their main cities (MSP, DTW, MEM) you have to do your banking over the net.

Have been using them for 7 or 8 years-have had no problems whatsoever. They are formally NWA Federal Credit Union, but have gone independent due to NWA wanting fees for using "NWA" in their name (never wanted fees for over 20 years, until times get tough...gotta collect money any way you can now). NWA wanted a few million and the credit union said "don't think so." So the name "Wings" was born to start attracting additional air transportation employees. They have an extensive ATM network in just about any big or small city (utilizes CO-OP ATM network). Some ATM's allow you to deposit and others don't, just depends on the agreement. Great credit union with an incredible amout of assets and getting stronger every day with all the new air organizations that are jumping on board. So if I could recommend a banking institution, this would be the one. Just my .02

Good luck.

I agree with the 2 previous posts. Everything with Wings has been positive.
They also have a very good on-line banking internet site.

Same as above, great service and easy on-line banking. I use bill pay and its great, never a problem.

I use Wings.

They have a nice set-up where you can ask for postage paid envelopes for the times you have a check that isn't automatically deposited. They'll also mail you the deposit slip and more envelopes once it clears.

The internet bill pay is $4.50 a month, which I asked them about since other Federal Credit Unions do not charge for this service. They said it is because they do not have a minimum account balance requirement for their members and it is an expense for them (Wings, that is...)

I'm still trying to figure that one out, as I believe it costs more money to process a paper check than have it paid internet bill pay style. Hence, offering internet bill pay for free would cost less in the end for Wings, but hey, I don't do math in public...

I believe if you use another Federal Credit Union cash-mash the fee usually charged is waived due to reciprocity among other Federal Credit Unions. Maybe someone else knows more about that and can reply..

All accounts can be downloaded to Quicken, too.

Hope that helps.

They continually have the best rates on car loans too...they've been fabulous. I've refinance a couple of cars a couple of times over the phone.

The only complain I have of the Credit Union is the day the bills go through. I had a credit union that would process the bills 2 to 3 days from when you requested it no questions asked. Wings has a specific time away from the bill that you have to wait to process it. Its really no big deal but its just like mailing it in, you have to do it like a week in advanced.

Second thing, when I changed my vehicle loans over to Wings I was talking to the head loan advisor. He was saying something on the lines that the credit union is making more money then the airline itself. Not that it matters but I think its interesting.
