In the past couple of weeks I have been actively recruited by multiple airlines. Not asked to interview by all of them, but I was asked to apply or reapply. Just curious if everyone is getting these emails? So far two fractionals, two majors and three regionals.

I wish I was on this email list ten years ago. I think the next big wave is starting to pick up speed.

No, I agree with the original poster. I had my app in to quite a few airlines and lost interest. Well, recently I have received emails and even a phone call asking me about my current status.

And these aren't crappy airlines either. Trust me, something is up with this industry.

I don't think it means a whole lot. Back a year or so ago I put my resume out everywhere. I do mean everywhere. I didn't know what was going to happen at XJ so I wanted to cover my Ace. I think all these airlines want to clean out old applications before they start calling for interviews. Maybe I hit the right sweet spot on thier computers. I have know idea. I have a great job at NJA. I was just curious if others were getting these emails. It just struck me a little odd.

Recieved an email from American Eagle today checking to see if I was still interested in interviewing. It has been atleast 2 years since I applied there.


And no I am not interested.

Starting to get those myself.

Got an E-mail from Citation Shares a few days ago inquiring if I was still interested. Took me a bit to even remember putting in an application with them. Been at least two years or so ago.

Anybody interested should probably send in an app. sounds like they are digging to find qualified pilots.

Remember around mid 80's getting a post card from Simmons inviting me to attend a class with a date.
Most of us have our info out there, ATP database with address..so when those letters and post cards start showing up..maybe its time to raise the pay?
