Will MCO be a new pilot base for AirTran?

I've heard the rumors for years that MCO will eventually be a base. I had an Airtran j/s on my flight today and he said it was a done deal. Any word from management about this or is it just speculation?

I asked the CP directly 2 weeks ago in ground school and he confirmed it. 100 pilots total, 50 from each aircraft type. Opening later in the year.

With all due respect to you and FP, nothing is done yet. As of today there is no MCO pilot base nor has there been a vacancy notice posted with plans for one.
With that said, I have heard the same RUMOR.

The MCO base is a no brainer. BWI too for that matter. The problem is our company is run by the Stygian Witches from Clash of the Titans, fighting for the same glass eye so that they may see.
