No rumors
Haven't heard any good rumors about when classes might start up again. For what its worth, there is some good news with the Jun bidpack, but there is some off-setting bad news. The Boeing pack grew by 400 hours from May to June (good), but the DC-10 bidpack shrunk by 600 (bad). As the DC-10's are converted their loads are shifted to other airframes, but I couldn't tell if the others (Bus and MD's) increased to make up the other 200 hours. Perhaps if more work is transferred to the Boeing eventually we will need to bring some more folks into the back. Right now there isn't much open time in the back of the Boeing so the manning must be pretty close to optimal right now. The number of reserve and secondary lines for June actually decreased by 15 but the number of regular lines increased by 15, so there will probably not be too much open in June either.
I wish I could offer some real news, but there's just not much floating around that I have heard. I hope that classes start soon and every member of the swim team can dry off. Hang in there!
