yes but the MEC won't release any details because its on a need to know basis and you just don't need to know....just kidding (about the yes part).

No. Probably the first quarter of '07.

Since the dumas outed himself on the ALPA board, why not tell him in person what a tool he is? Hi Alan G, you're a tool. Now back under Brian's desk with you!

I have flown with him he just wants what skywest has, even though the company has not even come close. Oh yeah and he hates mesa I mean freedom.

I may vote NO also, but at least they're moving it along, after 4 friggin' years! And if it has what I think is fair for everyone, not necessarily for me, I'll vote YES.

Hoser

Hoser, don't forget that it was ALPA that dragged things out first. We wanted things to improve after 911. Both sides employ the foot dragging when it benefits them..... it isn't just a management technique.....

My "NO" vote is pretty much assured as well after talking with Scott Hall regarding the Company's position on scope. In a nutshell, Mr. Hall feels the only scope we have is to be paid lower than everyone else in the industry. He feels DOH at SkyWest if airplanes get transferred, or pilots go with airplanes, or fleet guarantees, or block hour guarantees, or any other alternative is "unworkable."

Certainly Capt. Hall is not the author of this position, but he illustrates management's position that ASA pilots only serve at the whim of our masters at SkyWest. Although we have more time and effort into making ASA a success than just about any senior manager at the G.O., our contribution is meaningless going forward.

Everything this side of one list is a compromise. Before the SkyWest purchase ASA pilots at least had perfect scope over ASA flying - now we don't even have that. That is a concession I am not willing to abide.

Scope is my only strike issue and it remains a strike issue, regardless of what else is in the contract.

Fins, I agree with you regarding scope. However ALPA has really tied our hands regarding scope. Without "ownership" of our flying, the only protection we have is economic competiveness. Without either "brand scope" or "inclusive scope", we need to be competitive.

Lynn Jackson is not professional so why would she expect professional treatment. Your post appear to be written by JoeyMerchant. Could you be his little MinniME? Or did you cough up the $10 for a new screen name so you could make everyone think the Fab 4 has another supporter? Maybe it's time for you to get out of the KITCHEN as things will soon heat up if we don't get movement in pay rates, insurance, rigs, etc. Joey likes to use that "some of us" blah, blah, blah just like you his little MinniME is now doing? Hum, could it be?????? "Some of us" would like to know????

Bizjet,

There are more "some of us"'s then you realize. Soon you will see how many of us there are. By the way Bob, isn't it time you retire to the golf course. You are retired, why are you still worried about ASA - go enjoy your retirement......

I'm with you fins, I'll vote no if the scope sucks. We have ironclad scope or I vote no. The rest is gravy if you ask me. My guess is if the Union is happy with their gains, its probably pretty good (industry leading, or right up there).

Trojan

Your right Trojan. Without job protection, the rest of the contract is meaningless. I don't care what the 70 seat rate is if we don't have any 70 seaters..... "No pilot left behind" is a nice campaign slogan, but every plane that leaves the property, leaves 10 pilots behind. It's time to quit leaving pilots behind.....

That "dumas" has the convictions of his actions. That is more than I can say for you..... At least Alan stands behind his posts.... what is your name? That's right, you don't have the stones that Alan has.... Call us names, but at least you know our names. Come say what you say on here to our face, if you are man enough......

I haven't been there. Sorry, but FI isn't me.

You haven't been there? You are an LEC Officer and you haven't even been to your own strike center? I've been to your strike center and I work for a different airline!!!

ASA pilots, please recall this disgrace.

You do know who you're talking to, right? You can't be too surprised.

Well, I figured he'd at least stop by to steal some documents and then refuse to return them. ;)

Well, hello Will F. Is this what you call "in person"? I'll be sure to say hello the next time I pass you in the hall.

Alan.

You talk about the Union in the third person. YOU, me, and every other ASA ALPA pilot are THE UNION! THE UNION will get to vote on the merits of the tentative contract, according to the NON-Coalition group! They call this method Pilot Ratification! If the tentative contract is good enough, as you say, then THE UNION, us, through pilot ratification, will approve it by majority vote. WE are THE UNION, not just our elected and appointed peers doing a thankless job for a bunch of pilot pules.

Oh now Speedtape, you're really gonna confuse the ALPA bashers now! See, all along the bashers (you know who you are) are happy and content to blame it all on ALPA. Now you're informing them that ALPA is them. What will they ever do now? I'm sure OhSorry will come up with something!

Voted To Strike The ASA Division of Skywest Inc!

You are one angary young man Alan.

Voted To Strike The ASA Division of Skywest Inc!
angry? nah..this is all good entertainment. 99% of you guys/gals are completely full of it and thats proven by the fact that you try to remain unknown. If I were to say some of the assanine stuff you guys do, I certainly wouldn't want my identity knoown either.

This sillyness makes me laugh....most of the time.

Alan.

Try again tool. I know WF and he WOULD sign his name to the post. I'm smart enough not to, unlike yourself.

Oh, I see you're making internet tough guy threats now. Very nice. Isn't that what you accuse everybody else of?

Joey's dream of taking over ASA ALPA with his older girlfriend is over! Can't wait for his spin on why they didn't get enough votes. Maybe they'll (Joey&Lynn) will go back their hole!

How about that Chief Pilot CV? I'd say the pilots at ASA have spoken. First for strike authorization, and now to elect the right people to represent the ASA pilots. Pay attention now Scotty, this pilot group ain't Chicago Express! And we're not gonna roll over.

Voted In Favor!
To Strike and For The Right Representatives!

Make sure you turn in all the pay credits you are entitled to for your efforts to turn your union over to the Fab 4. The company will certainly honor your efforts as promised, that is if you have it in writing. Think of all the time you will now have to spend with your family or inviting guys you don't know out for drinks.

JoeMerchant-

It is unwise to bait people that you do not know. They could be boxers, mixed martial artists, or just crazy rednecks. That is a problem you do not need. I encourage you to retract your foolish statement and apologize.

OhPLease-

Don't pretend like your identity has been known all along. You got outed and now you cast stones at the rest of us who have not. There is a message board available that lists everyone's identity. If you prefer that, then use the ALPA baord.

Be careful if Chief pilot CV invites you out for drinks!

Voted To Strike ASA!
Voted In Favor of The No Pilot Left Behind group!

CV is a pi$$ poor Chief Pilot. As a matter of fact he sucks. He has done more for safety than any other manager by not flying the line on a regular basis.

WOW! What a strong showing--NOT! There were actually a lot less "some of us"s than you promised. Most of the pilots I have talked with say that they would tell you anything just to get you to shut up. You have received the message from the pilot group. If you want to cave on a contract you must go to another airline. SkyWest would fit your timid agenda and commitment! Make it a package deal. The three of you (you and Landslide Lynn) and we get no one it return. Please enjoy using your LEC Sec./Treas. title until the last day of February. It is not raining so someone must be pi$$ing on your back and telling you it is rain. You should be proud of your one ALPA election victory--it is one more than your girl friend. I doubt there will be another in your future because you "JUST DON'T GET IT"!!

That's just plain wrong. Wrong.
