Hi guys!
I've read through several pilots getting their 737 types through the WIA. With more funds available through a similar program, more hoops to jump through to get the funds, and a lot less flight time and experience than any of the furloughees, what should a person do? It's use it or lose it.

Would a 737 type help a low time pilot in pursuit of flying for a major cargo airline? Or would the funds be better spent playing SIC for a 727 operator or safety pilot in a Seminole? It seems to be a choice between a type, 250 hours of multiengine jet part 121 sic, or 100 hours of piston twin PIC (50 "captain").

Am I missing other options?

Thanks much!
