Has anyone received grant money in FL for A type?

I ran into one dead end after another, last i heard was that there was a $3K max in Florida. I had the most luck with calling the training centers HPA, FSI SimuFlight etc and asking to talk to their $$ people. The local people at my "one stop career center" had no idea what I was talking about.
