Furloughed, looking for help

What does WIA stand for? I was a reservist and now Desert Storm veteran, would I be entitled to GI benefits? If so, where should I start calling? Thanks!

Wia

WIA stands for Workforce Investment Act. It is a federal program that allocates money to state and local governments to help "dislocated workers" receive training that is suppose to help them get back to work. "Dislocated worker" means that you lost your job due to layoffs or furlough. Your military experience alone will not qualify you for WIA funds but you may be able to use your GI benefits for flight training. You need to speak to a VA councelor.

Good luck,
Johnny

Possible job

Thanks for the info. I just got a call last night from citationshares in ORD. Heard anything good or bad about them? I also might have an opportunity to interview at flight options. I haven't heard anything good or bad about them either. Any info would be appreciated.
