BTW I've been here for 10 months. 4 day weekends every week next month. 95 hours credit.

flame on...
Good schedule. I know a lot of guys that work at SKW, most of them seem very very happy there. Just a few of them that dont like it. I personally think that the time to get in there has come and gone. As I think that a lot of the new hires will kind of be stuck in limbo.

I agree. Thus the commentary on SKW vs XJT. FYI, CRP is one helluva nice place to live. Even if the base lasts 2 years, I will have spent "the worst years" in a wonderful slow sleepy gulf city. I couldn't be happier. Living in LA, Ontario, Palm Springs, Portland, Salt Lake, all those beautiful towns....on a $20,000-30000 a year salary is pure torture to a guy like me. I'm a huge skier and mountain climber, two sports that require good gear to do what I like to do and that measly salary just ain't gonna cut it. I'll take $3.50 Mexican food plates and all the gulf shrimp and Margaritas I can drink at the quiet seaside restaurants. If you speak spanish, hail from Texas and say howdy to total strangers, life in Corpus Cristi can be amazing...life is all about your attitude anyway. If you are always thinking that California is the bomb when you originally hail from Wisconsin, and you finally discover that food can be organic and not pesticide filled then yes, i can see why Skywest is a blast to work...especially if the FAs are beautiful. I agree though that the sweet ride is coming to an end.

Sacrifice is something that is missing from the aspects of character in our youth today so its no surprise that three supposed people the Big Leb knows quit their commitment. That's not a surprise, especially since I served in the military and sat in many o' Captain's Mast for degenerate sailors whose mom's weren't there to keep them on the straight and narrow path of righteousness.

Don't hear too much from the folks with SJS about mentioning going to to RAH. All you hear is XJT or SKW. A really hot chick I know has SJS and all she can babble on about is XJT vs SKW. Must be an OC thang huh? I guess that's where the popular kids go to fly, huh? I'm lost here.

Who the hell cares?

Well that's a good point but were not talking spirituality here. If we were we'd talk a lot about why the hell any of what you think is reality matters anyways. But we'd have to take away your AXE body spray and see if that really mattered to you too. Gotta take the sour with the sweet baby.
