Why is ASA only going after Pilot's pay? Why not Flight Attendants, Rampers, Gate Agents, Departure Coordinators, Schedulers, Planners, Dispatchers, etc... Oh yeah, why not Bryan's or Charlie's.

Guess they might want BL's $800,000 stock back if they were sincerely wanting to trim cost.

Hopefully someone asks CT that at the road show. We should make two things known company-wide.

-A company that cuts the pay of any employee group usually goes after the rest. We should pass that on to all the ASA employees who think we should take the company's offer and get it over with.

-We won't take any concessions without an agreement in writing that there will be equal cuts across the board, including mgmt.

We need to do a better job of communicating with the other employee groups, especially the front-line. What happens to us will certainly affect them and they need to know we have all employees interests at heart.

The reason they don't ask other groups for paycuts is they know a ramper with 2 months seniority will just leave if given a paycut, while a pilot will ask how much more he has to give to get a quicker upgrade. Unfortunately, it's all supply and demand, and our current scope section has not limited the supply of pilots available to Skywest Inc, and ultimately Delta.

But there are plenty others who could be affected and consider themselves "para-mgmt". Schedulers, HR, payroll, and various admin and other types of non-phone-answering, non-departure-producers who have made ASA a career and think they're imune to it all because they hang around the GO coffee pot all day.

From your Stupidvisor: Attn all non flying employees if you do not take immediate pay cuts the New coffee pots will be given to Skywest employees. Coffee cost money, money we don't have (ignore the record profits we reported to both the Government and Stockholders). We are losing money by tens of thousands. Just the other day we lost $800,000 (in stock) and that cannot be recouped. Ignore this warning and soon All of you will be drinking Hot Tea. In order to keep coffee, we must act now.
