Why is it that ASA is picking up gate space at DFW? Is this going to be one of the stopping points for the CRJ-200 to get to LAX? I didn't think a 200 can go from DFW to LAX non-stop with a full load.

What? CRJ-200 can't haul anything from DFW to LAX. Where are you getting your info? A CRJ-200 could fly from ATL-DFW-SLC-LAX though with no real restrictions. Source?

Folks..... You heard it here first!! ASA to re-open DFW base! ASA will also be receiving their first order or Boeing 737-800's as soon as the contract is finished.

Just had a 4 hour airport appreciation session yesterday at terminal E. The place was a ghost town. Delta had two gates working but most of the action was at the anchor positions. Center was dead. I saw no ASA presence...just the empty mini-terminal and the shadows of those who once were there.

we did dfw-phoenix in the 200, how long is the phx-lax leg?

It would be tough, and misrable for everyone on board.

There was a DFW-DCA leg as well....no fun. But who cares, you already have their money.

Just to put some more fuel on this fire, I saw CT getting off a plane in ATL from DFW on 10/19/06. He was in a suit and tie and carrying a briefcase. Also heard from a reliable source, that MTC is gearing up for a base there.

I apologize in advance, I have too much time today.
CT did fly ATL-DFW-ATL on 10/19 & 10/25.

To add fuel to this fire, in the next few weeks CT is also booked to go ATL-MCO-ATL & ATL-DCA-ATL both day trips.

How can you look that up? Can you do it on Travelnet?

I never said DFW was going to reopen as a base.. What I could see is the Crj-200 passing thru there (DFW) thou to get the airplanes out to LAX and back.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but I see a whole lot of mechanics in the cockpits of CRJ 700's on a fairly regular basis.

OoohOoohWee! Blucher, you would make a fine attorney! You saw through that statement of intended "misdirection!"
