I was just checking the pass allotment section on Deltanet and noticed my 19 year old son's status has changed from S2 and S3 to only S3B. My wifes and myself status has not changed. Could somebody explain the change. Has the happen to other ASA employes? Does anybody know the number to call to ask about this change? Thanks

If hes not a full time student, he drops to s3b at or after 18 I think.

Well me being a Freedom guy, our priority is only S3 on Delta. Now if I took a flight on our company aircraft, I would be S2. Im guessing its the same for you guys(since we are both DELTA carrier operations). My mother is a S4 on delta. I hoped this helped some.

If he is a full time student, he should be able to fly as an S3 until age 24. Just check with your HR department.

If you don't fax in a copy supporting them being a full time student, 12 credit hours or more, then you will revert to S-3B status. You have to fax a copy of the registation in. PM me and I'll give you the info.

No, we have S2's as well at ASA. We get 6 a year.;)

100% spot on...not to beat the dead horse.:)

I just went through this nut roll and you need to re submit EVERY simester. The time period is only good as long as the paperwork states.

Additionally, while an S3B, when the dependent is flying with you he/she changes to what ever you are flying (S2-S3). You also get to pay the fee which is slightly less than a friends and familly pass.

Hope that helps.

Got everthing straightened out. I had to get a "Enrollment Verification Certificate" from my son's college and fax it to ASA (Nice lady at ASA who really helped me out) and she made the change in his pass privileges. I will have to do this every semester to keep if from reverting back to S3B. If my son had been here instead of overseas on vacation he could have logged into the college web site and printed the Certificate and I wouldn't have to had jump through my a#s so he could travel back tomorrow on and S2 instead of a S3B. Kids, what we do for them and never hear a "Thank You Dad".
