Can you enlighten us to what “crash” you are talking about?

Maybe you are just embellishing the incident of black ice While taxiing to the ramp after landing at an uncontrolled field ?

Welll which one is it? Sliding on a taxiway or “crash” as you describe it?

Must be a lot of that "black ice" spread around the country.

at least the wing didn't fall off this time.

He’s talking about the G450 that landed with the tailwind and didn’t arm the spoilers.

So I guess as long as nobody gets killed the Rochester FSDO is pretty much cool with it.

I guess another "safety stand down", er I mean email is in order!

So we get any email to your response directly from the Chief Pilot. We need to focus on Pilot Professionalism. Based on the CVR, the pilots of the Phenoms and Nextants did't follow SOP's. Why was the CVR from the Gulfstream excluded from his analysis?

Not to mention it's a TMC plane. Do we need to remind ourselves of Kenn's involvement with TMC?

Truly the anti-Midas.

The fact is the entrepreneurial Kenn makes too many cost saving decisions that result in a shim sham result. Design, purchase, maintenance, training, operations... Kenn's way of doing business eventually filters down to all thIngs. The proof is in everything he touches, including companies he now advises.

You'd think Flexjet Pilots would start paying attention but no, they'll just keep shoving their heads up the own asses, soothing themselves with the guarantees they are too cool, too perfect, too trained to let Kenn's ways interfere with their awesomeness.

Oh well. BTW, did you know there's been several recent instances where union protection emboldened pilots to stand up against crazy pushes by FODMs?

I heard one interesting tale about a FODM who threatened a pilot to either take off for their destination or CGF. When the pilot asked the FODM to arrange for a union steward to meet them at CGF it shut the whole conversation down. Other arrangements were made and everyone lived to tell the tale. The pilot in question was anti union. Until that day.

Their is an antidote for the Anti-Midas. It is a strong union. A weak one won't do the trick.

What are you gonna do?
