It's the typical Bryan Bedford bait and switch move.

Here guys, take a lower 50-seat and 70-seat rate for airplanes you *do* fly...meanwhile we'll give you a bigger 90-seat rate for airplanes you don't fly! You guys will have industry-leading rates for an airplane not on property! Sign here please...

The union was at least looking to the future on this one. The last CHQ contract didn't have pay rates for planes beyond 50 seats. At least now if they get 190s on the property there will be a payscale in place.

Scroll down from the linked page to see the rates.

I seriously doubt anybody but the freshest newbie at Chautauqua would want to EVER see E190s at an airline other than a major. And certainly not at CHQ, for those rates.

Yeah, Those rates are pretty bad even for a Regional carrier. Comair's 17 Year Capts on the CRJ7 are at $118/hour.

Then take your A$$ to Comair. I am sure we will not have a tough time finding another 1000 hour wonder-kid to pull our gear.

Just to burst your little bubble. I'm not a 1000 hour wonder kid and I won't be going to Comair. Maybe if you would get your head out of your a$$ and stop being stuck up wanna be, you would see that my comment was not directed as a negative one towards CHQ. Good look in the mirror papa smurf, because i'm sure you're the only one that likes you!

Has anyone seen JetBlue's 190 rates?

How do they compare again?

Surprisingly well, at least in the left seat. Yr5 is $4/hr less ($73 vs. $77, I think), Yr10 is identical at $85/hr. Then again, JB pays time and a half over 70hrs and has profit sharing, if there's any profit to share.
