Which brings up a good point....since when did a pilots license make someone the undisputed expert in dispatch, maintenance, catering, meteorology, finance, accounting, payroll, negotiations, staffing, aircraft inventory management, and operations management?
When the expertise behind the pilot license has to step in and fix the disputes mentioned above. It would be nice if we didn't have to do everyone else's job for a change.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this time very SLOWLY.....if you're so bright and you control the scarce resource (labor) then why dont you go start your own fractional company????[/QUOTE]

I know of two pilots that worked here that did start their own fractional company.

One with a Barbie jet and a two King Airs, the other with a King Air and some piston jobs.

I guess they had the "Right Stuff".

Family Guy just doesn't get it. Gee let's see I am an expert in dispatch because I have done it my whole career. I am directly responsible for everything about my flight. The FAA makes the pilot the final authority responsible for the safe conduct of every flight. Geez family guy that is just basic aviation knowledge. I'm starting to wonder if your job is sweeping the floors or making food in the breakroom. You don't seem to have any knowledge of the aviation industry at all.

Many of us have run our own flight departments, or worked as mechanics, or ran squadrons in the military. If your going to work here as a pilot you have to be a good accountant. because of the low pay..... May I school you on anything else?
