From everything I read those flights were always full. Yet they pull out of the market.

What happened? Just curious.
 
Yes the flights were full, but near as I can tell it was not worth dealing with the corruption. Too much government help for the local airline created artificially low fares and the kickbacks needed to do business there made the yields too low.
At least that seems to be the general consensus.

If they really wanted to generate a premium service to MNL, they should have offered inflight KARAOKE, that would have been a hit!

Hawaiian did renew their right to fly to MNL for two more years should they decide it would be viable to get back into the market. I'll forward your idea on, it just may be what's needed!
 
Peelings.....nothing more than peelings......

Not politically correct, but pretty funny none the less. Had a Filipino mech at a DC-3 cargo outfit tell me the crew was a "pair of pliers"
