Just Wondering...I just found out a buddy of mine got the job we currently have because of catching up with an old friend on Flight Info. Also, I have gotten a couple people jobs at my old flight school because of this website. Does anyone else have any similar stories?

I found my job here. The guy I fly with is great. The pay is great. The benefits are great. The trips are great... Life is good. Thanks FlightInfo!

Haven't gotten the job yet, but someone on the military side posted message that a unit in SoCal is looking for Reserve 737 pilots. I am putting my package in as soon as I am eligable. seems like some nice folks out West.

Helps keep the options open, that is for sure.

I believe that's what they call Stockholm syndrome. :D

Though overall there are some nice areas it's very overpriced. Even though I got a good raise, the cost of living was high enough that it canceled out the raise, but I was able to come back to Florida and demand the same amount of money after the contract was canceled.

I feel that because of my lack of experience and the fact that I haven't flown in almost 2 years....also being unemployed for 3....makes me an exciting prospect for someone out there looking to hire someone. I believe I have what it takes to be furloughed when the time comes. I will update your jepps and then create a lifesize replica of your most evil flightinfo nemesis and then empty the biffy into the mouth of said replica while you watch from a safe distance. I will clean your side of the windscreen while leaving my side dirty for I am not worthy. I will make the jokes on the radio that you cannot make and while you are laughing and they are taking my certificate away I will be glad that you are pleased. I will say "by your command" when I raise and lower the gear. I will always make the utmost effort during off duty time to never be in contention for anything but the fattest, most slothful, most unkept girl available while making you appear to be larger than life. I will give you my per diem and kill what I eat on the road so that you can eat the mega bar. I will give you the heads of my dinner to mount inside the aircraft and you may take credit for the kills yourself. Need I say more?

Lmao!!

Hi!

I got my current job because of flightinfo.

My previous job was helped by www.aptap.org (designed for mil-helo pilots).

Flightinfo.com job assistance

In all seriousness, had flightinfo.com and/or the internet had existed fourteen years ago, I'm sure my career and those of others would have taken different, more positive, directions. Back then, career-builders depended on rumors, hearsay and outdated Kit Darby info for their job intel. With flightinfo.com, questions are answered and current info and advice are available almost in real time. The board is a valuable resource. Use it.
