Who has been to an Air Inc weekend? I am going and am not sure what to expect. Is anyone going to ATL?

I am not much on AIr Inc.... BUT they do have the info that we need. This is a Information type career field. Its not what but who you know and I think that they ( Air Inc) lead us all in the right direction. I am NOT sticking up for them but nobody else has so much one stop information.
In the end it really doesnt matter, as long as we all end up where we need to be and are all happy...

I went to ATL pre 9/11 and spoke with Kit about his ideas of how fast one can expect to upgrade at United. At the time he was saying that one cold upgrade in as little at 6 years. I expressed the fact that United would almost have to double for this to happen and he could not see that being a problem. He is off on his views but I did get the opportunity to meet alot of people that otherwise I would have never meet. Going to ATL helped me get an interview with UPS or it could have been the fact that my boss played golf with Oz Nelson (Former CEO). One of the two helped me out.

Never having been to a job fair, do you hand the recruiters both Cover and Resume or Just Resume? Any other helpful tips from Job Fair Experts?

I went to the one in Atl in 1998 or 99 cant remember now. During Jet Blue's pitch about upgrading to captain in 6 months (did not think much of it then) I got up to go take a leak and ran into Plato Ryan. Talked with him for about five minutes. Gave him a resume, and he gave me an interview, and a job. I think Kit Darby is a scum bag, a rip off artist, but if you go into it knowing what you are paying for (access to the people who count) these seminars have been very good in the past. Just do not listen to any of Kit's statistics or predictions and please do not buy any of his products.

AIR Inc

I went to an Air Inc job fair back in 2000 and got an interview with ATA. I did not know anyone at ATA to give me a reccomendation and I now work there!! I also got an interview at Alaska, Airborn Express and AirTran from the jobfair.
