it was the real answer. sorry it read smarta**ish. anyway, blzr is right with the answer, they are not related, which was my answer.
 
The General is correct in his explanation of the "ACEY" and "Candler" callsigns. ASA had been using ACEY prior to being "required" to change to the horrible "Candler" callsign due to that military unit conflict. At long last we have gotten our old callsign back just a few days ago!

By the way "General", do you ever go to work? You never seem to be away from your darn computer, or are you on reserve or something? So sad.
