I've heard good & bad about the company (mostly good). LOTS of friends who have gone there and quickly moved on to "bigger" things. From what I hear, it doesn't take much to get in the class...couple of my friends just went through last week and now they're just waiting for the call. Thought about going there myself, but it's definitely life in the middle of nowhere and the crew house has lots of, let's say, 'character'. :) Flew in a couple years ago to visit...they had 2 Bandits in the hangar and a Lear 23 or 24 (can't remember) they were fixing up to use. Small operation buts seems to be safe and lots of time.

Yeah, I agree. The lears are still sitting because they are looking for a crew and just can't seem to find any lear crews on the 20 series.

No, because I know someone who just did it about a week ago.

Cool...thanks. I had heard that a while back and hadn't confirmed it yet.

Leipsic is in the middle of nowhere. I grew up in a town a little smaller than Leipsic about 30 min. away and there is nothing to do around there. Findlay and Lima are about the only "big" cities nearby. Friendly people though!

My finance is from Leipsic. It is definately a little different to me, me being from Philadelphia, PA. I'm starting to like the country life though.

Ohh....I love the country life. In fact I hate living in the city. To much traffic, to many stop lights and some of the rudest people I have ever met, especially while driving! But I digress. I would give anything to be able to live there and still have a descent aviation job.

It used to be that they preferred co-pilots with an A&P. That may have changed. It was a fun place to work and as far as entertaining night life is concerned, we used to race back to base to get into the little watering hole in town for a few beers before they closed. That was about the extent of it. Rumor had it that Leipsic was the largest group of beer drinkers per capita in the state of Ohio. Have fun then move on.

That is all of Putnam county.

Anyone know if Bob hires women? I've heard he doesn't like to due to pilots' having to load their own a/c???? Is that true?

Yes that sounds more correct. And to answer about whether Bob hires women, we didnt really have any as pilots when I was there however we had a lady dispatcher and aguy and his wife hired in and she was rumored to be a potential pilot but I never actually saw her in any capacity.
