I heard that the anal probing will continue, untill morale improves!

Further, and I swear, I was walking by recurrent TSA training in KBFE, yeah, I know, I did not know they had that either, but anyway, something is up.

As I was walking by, this dude wearing nothing but black closed the door, but before he did, I saw this little greenish, greyish guy with big eyes and no real mouth. Anyway, so now I was curious, you know, like most people would be, so I nonchalantly took my time tying my shoes.
Now, they never opened the door again, but I could hear shouted commands from the room, stuff like:" I am going in" and "Going deep".

Not that I can make much sense of it, but thought you all should know.

TSA sucks, it's the worst part of the job, makes me bitter everytime I have to disassemble my self and them put myself back together, and they alway always have to stop the bet, just to make you wait a little more.

If you allow the TSA to get you all worked up and put your day off to a bad start then you have some issues. Just suck it up and go through security. It's part of the job. You guys that are all bent out of shape about the TSA need to thicken up your skin. I just stand there and grin as I watch some pilot jerk make an a$$ out himself in front of the public as a TSA screener is just doing his/her job. Most pilots are control freaks and don't like to be told what to do. This is the problem here, not the TSA. Why do you think most pilots are walking around the airport all day with perma-scoul....Too thin skinned. Nobody pays rent inside of my head, ESPECIALLY the TSA. Life is too short.

Lequip, you are a complete asshole most of the time. But this I completely agree with.

Life is way too short to let your day, or career, get ruined by the TSA. Be the better person, and shake it off.

If you have problems with TSA contact your US Senator and give a detailed complaint.

If that fails, contact the Public Affairs Office at TSA. Ask for Joe Massey and politely explain your difficulty.

Back in early '02, I was still carrying a small multi-tool resembling a key on my key-chain. A small (1/2") blade, screwdriver, can opener type of thing. It was partially damaged (melted) from a silly "incident" involving electricity, a small home repair, and some burned hair on my hands (don't ask!), so I didn't really care if it was confiscated. Well, I had been carrying this thing through security 15-20 times a month before and ever since 9-11, no problems. One day in MHT, the TSA lady sees it after it goes through the x-ray. And has a fit, right in front of me and about a dozen passengers. "Shame on you, you of all people should know this is prohibited, blah, blah, blah". A real scene. So I fire right back, "well, I've been carrying this thing through security for months now, and it took you that long to even find it". Quieted her right down. They took the tool away though. A few months later, I had one of those little Sears-Craftsman circular screwdrivers (about the the size of a quarter, with four flat screwdrivers of various sizes) on my key-chain. Very handy for tightening the occasional loose screw on David-Clarks. And at the same checkpoint in MHT, they have a fit about that. And take it from me. The GSC gets involved and tells me to meet her downstairs in ops to get my address so USAirways can mail it back to me at home. I thought it was her way of saying "wink, wink, I'll just give it back to you". No dice on that, but she did mail it back to me at home. Since then, I carry the same tool, now velcro-ed into the inside of my hat (not hidden, right there in the center next to my name tag). And nobody has ever given me a hard time about it. Occasionally a screener will take a second glance, but they haven't confiscated it. But I haven't been through security in MHT in awhile.

MHT is where I got my 2 inch allen wrench taken away and got chided for carrying a deadly weapon. Maybe that's where they send the hard core TSA people that are on the verge of a mental snap. Or maybe they have a good Ebay thing going there.
