I have decided to make an attempt at the regionals and I want to pick one based off of the right choices. Pay and future growth w/ the company, better work rules than the average, etc. Please let me know who to absolutly stay away from (I.E. Messa?) and also who to try a little harder to get on with.

Welp.. we cant even staff our 124 birds... Have a pulse? come to Pineapple.

appreciate it guys... Any info on TSA - Waterski, Comair, Xpressjet?

There is much more to pay and QOL than can be found from an Airline pilot Central search. The work rules matter greatly, An excellent resource is US Airline Salary Survey published by Air Inc. They show rules for items such as trip and duty rigs, dead head pay, benefits and a number of other things. Maybe if more guys availed themselves of this info, regional contracts would improve. Good luck

After not getting the Midwest flying, AWAC may soon be hiring and hiring alot. Not a bad place to be, but don't expect any growth or advancement for a while.

Good ones, in no specific order:
RAH/CHQ - Hiring Like Crazy
Express Jet
Skywest
Air Wiskey

You won't ride on my plane if you work for:
GoJets

If you like to be treated like a human being, do not go to:
Mesa

This question is asked every couple of weeks- which regional to go to?

The answer is often the same....go where you can see yourself living at one of the airline's bases! Commuting sucks.

Me, I work for ExpressJet- I'm happy, I actually enjoy going to work and enjoy flying with most of the people I fly with. Management actually treats us well and is on the lookout for our best interests. Big news to come early next year too...probably at least 2 more bases other than the crappy ones we have now.
