The company I work for has purchased new flight tracking software, and I've just spent a few hours watching traffic enroute to various airports. I've noticed Garuda seems to be a recurring theme into every major airport and lots of smaller ones. Does anyone know who they are?

Garuda is/was the Indonesion National airline. I flew on them once from Bali to Darwin a few years back but I thought I heard they went under....

I sure hope they aren't picking up routes from Mesa now...;)

If you are using FltPlan.com's tracking service, I believe their callsign tagging system is a little screwed up. GA, which shows up as Garuda, is a generic General Aviation callsign. I may be way off with this, but from what I remember from my brief subscription with their service, that's what I had figured out. Enjoy your new hobby of being a nosey flight tracker! :)

Garuda was still around as of this spring, when I flew them from Bangkok to Auckland (and back) - via Brisbane, Bali, Jakarta, and Singapore - what a pain.
