Not true on several counts. SkyWest is the dominant UAX carrier ot of ORD. SkyWest is getting killed by everyone in the MST department. HoJets, Mesa, TransStates, RAH, all have better MST times than SkyWest.

The MST times are the same for all the UAX carriers. Are you saying that SkyWest is taking longer than MST to turn airplanes? If so, seems strange since UA ground handles all the UAX carriers in ORD.

now THAT'S the smartest thing I have heard on here in a long time!

In all seriousness, I was flying with a capt (pm me if you want to know who it is) who told me that Mesaba is getting the CRJ-900's and Pinnacle is getting the E-170s. His source - the Mesaba chief pilot. He told me that Compass is not going to exist. I'm very very skeptical, but I guess it's another scenario to this crazy dance.

If that happens that just proves how Dumb Management is in the whole NWA system. If you are going to make a split like that, give the 900's to pinnacle where all you would have to do is differential training for your entire employee group. Give the EMB's to Mesaba since they have to start from scratch.

I don't know where the new planes will go. But, something that opened my eyes was 9e going down to love field and trying to buy a terminal building. 1,000,000.00 dollars financed threw Tennessee Bank. It was all being done under the covers. When it fell threw, the press got hold of it. it was now public. 9e management and NWA had "no comment". Bad timing for 9e being in nagotions with its pilots and saying they can't improve our contract in such poor times. The word was this terminal was NWA's chance to set up regional service in the southwest and take the fight to SWA and in to their back yard. 9e is run at such a low cost, NWA could under price SWA for regional service in the southwest with 9e flying 70 seat A/C. This is where 9e was going to use their new ticket that they were building with a non-union pilot group.
What I know for sure is that I don't know.........

its true

You would do well not to listen to that Captain anymore.
