Does anyone remember when FO took NetJets' pax and vice versa?
It makes you wonder if either company lost or gained a new owner
at that point.

It doesn't matter in the end the pax were happy, that much I do remember.
I think the NJA Captain was afforded the opportunity to resign her position because of this event.

I think it was the Flt opts pilots that took the wrong passengers first then they asked Net jets to fly Flight Options pax.

The best one I heard was a crew picked up a lady to take her to Charleston from Chicago I think. When they arrived the lady looked out and asked where are we? The pilots looked at her and said Charleston, South Carolina, She said she was suppose to go to Charleston, WV. She said she was going to say something when she was watching the Air Show and saw they passed WV and were over North Carolina but she thought that was normal.

Another good one was that dispatch sent a crew to pick up a plane in Agusta, Georgia when the plane was in Agusta, Maine!

Another was a crew checking the catering order and seeng nothing for the passengers on the manifest but someone at dispatch ordered them shrimp cocktails and a seafood plater plus their turkey and ham box lunches. They thought Great !! They ate all the sea food and shrimp before the pax arrived and saved the ham and turkey for the hotel room later.
I am sure you all have figurerd out by now what happend when the pax showed and asked for their seafood:laugh:

A few years back I was airlined to SAT to pick up one of the last SII's for a tour. When we got there the service station had no record of it. After a few phone calls we discovered the aircraft had been sold over a year before. The whole time scheduling was getting irate because we were going to be late for a pickup. Real men of genius.
