Who has flown into STS?

I was in STS about three months ago with a 172 and I had an awesome local controller. He had me slip in behind a lear, but in front of a King Air. It was a perfect sequence. They must have the best controllers there. Another time a jet was taking off and had to abort because of a engine fire. I have never seen trucks roll so fast. That same contoller must have pushed that red button in a flash. I can't wait to fly an RJ there.

Yep, it's a pretty cool airport. I've been in there a number of times. Nice place.

I've been to STS a few times... I like it there.

One time it was hot, then cool, then nice but windy.
Nice valley with very pretty sunsets.

The controllers are a little goofy though. ;-)

I used to fly an Angel Flight passenger into STS, for a period of about three months. I flew the former California Governor Grey Davis into STS the week before the recall.
