So, an orphan airplane with no parts support, runout engine, damage history, AND it's registered Experimental Exhibition? What a turkey. I'd keep looking.

I have found the Experimental exhibition category to be easy to work with, it just depends on what you want to do with the airplane and how you interpret the rules.

Yeah right.

I got a few hours on the C-185 in Alaska flying bush.
No frail or weak genes in the 185, it never ceased to impress me.

Would love to have one for personal toy....Dornier not.

Look at the panel. AI is on the bottom, next to the DG. T/B is on the top. Looks like it was an afterthought. If the instruments were an afterthought, what is the rest of the plane like?? Run the other way.

And...it's got the GO-480 geared Lycoming, even if the plane's in good shape, expect a lotta maintenance on that engine.

It kinda looks like an Helio Courier, don't it?
